Appointed as a Non-Executive Director in July 2026. Deborah will join the Audit Committee from July 2026.
Career
Deborah is Chief Executive Officer of ViiV Healthcare, a role she has held since 2017, and has been President, Global Health at GSK plc since 2022. She is also a member of GSK’s Executive Committee.
Deborah joined GSK in 1996 and has held a broad range of senior leadership roles across the organisation in the United States, Europe and Asia Pacific. Her previous roles include Senior Vice President of Primary Care, US Pharmaceuticals, and leadership of the US Vaccines business.
Deborah served as a Non-Executive Director of Schroders plc until May 2025. She holds a degree in Economic History and English Literature from the University of Liverpool.
Skills and experience
Deborah brings extensive international healthcare and pharmaceutical experience to the Board. She has deep expertise in global health, commercial leadership and highly regulated international businesses, together with a strong track record across developed and emerging markets.
