Our Hiring Process: What to Expect

At Reckitt, we are building a business that is simpler, fitter, and faster, without losing its humanity, where talent thrives, as we team up to strengthen our thinking and accountability for long term performance. This has a direct impact on our people and, in 2025, 80% of our employees said they would recommend Reckitt as a place to work*.

For us, your experience during the hiring process matters. We believe that applying for a role is a two-way journey, so our hiring process is designed to help us understand your strengths, while helping you to get to know us. As a result, 95% of candidates feel we meet or exceed their expectations of the hiring process**.

We aim to keep you informed and supported at every step, and you can always check your progress at any time via your Candidate Profile.

Our Approach to AI

We understand that AI platforms can support you throughout your job search, and you’re welcome to use AI to research Reckitt, draft and refine your CV, or prepare for interviews.

However, what matters most to us is that your application reflects you. We want to get to know you, understand your experience, and learn from your ideas, so using AI to respond to live interview questions or submitting fully AI generated application materials may affect your hiring process.

At Reckitt, we do not use AI in candidate decision-making, all screening and selection is carried out by our recruitment team.

Interviews at Reckitt

If you have the skills and experience we need for the role, the next step is a Hiring Manager interview, conducted either virtually or face to face, where you’ll be asked skills-based questions. Some roles may include a second interview, such as meeting stakeholders or completing a presentation or case discussion.

To structure your answers, we recommend using the STAR technique, which involves describing the Situation or Task you faced, explaining the Actions you took, and outlining the Results you achieved.

Unfortunately, we’re not able to provide feedback if you’re unsuccessful at the screening stage, however if you attend a Hiring Manager interview, you’ll receive feedback from your recruiter, whatever the outcome.
