Reckitt Focus On: Digital Science

Angela joined Reckitt as Chief R&D Officer in September 2020. Angela is responsible for elevating Reckitt’s science capability and platforms as well as for driving external partnerships.

Angela brings to Reckitt over 23 years of diverse senior leadership experience in product and business development roles. Most recently, Angela spent ten years at DuPont, in various technical and commercial leadership roles, where she led the Nutrition & Biosciences Global Technology and Innovation organisation. Angela has a strong track record of accelerating innovation in the areas of food and nutrition sciences, materials, health and clinical sciences, regulatory and biotechnology. She is a passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion and actively works on STEM education to inspire the next generation of new scientists, engineers and experts. Angela is a graduate of the University of California, Davis with a PhD in Physical Chemistry and is a Six Sigma Black Belt.

Nigel Richardson is the Chief Information and Digitisation Officer (CIDO) at Reckitt, a global health and hygiene company with a portfolio of trusted consumer brands. He leads IT, Digital, and AI, driving technology-enabled transformation to support Reckitt’s purpose of protecting, healing and nurturing in pursuit of a cleaner, healthier world.

With over 25 years of experience across IT, digital innovation, and operations, Nigel has a strong track record of delivering scalable, tech-driven solutions in complex global organisations. He began his career as a software engineer in the automotive industry before leading engine manufacturing at Land Rover.

Prior to Reckitt, he held senior leadership roles at PepsiCo, including CIO for Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa. Earlier in his career, he held global and regional technology leadership positions at Mars, supporting R&D and supply chain.

A graduate of the University of Cambridge with a Master’s degree in Engineering, Nigel is passionate about developing digital capabilities, using data to unlock business value, and enabling people to thrive in a connected, fast-changing world.

Bastien Parizot is the SVP of Global Business Services and AI Enterprise at Reckitt. He leads the global team building a consistent set of services and capabilities that optimise processes and simplify experiences across the organisation. Bastien also oversees Reckitt’s company-wide programme to transform business areas through the use of artificial intelligence (AI) and generative AI.

He has a proven track record of leading marketing operations, technology, digital, data, analytics and AI at an enterprise level for global companies such as Renault, Nestlé, and Salomon.
