Our 2030 Sustainability Ambitions are an integral part of our strategy and our purpose to protect, heal and nurture in the pursuit of a cleaner, healthier world. We focus on three pillars of activity: more sustainable brands, healthier planet and fairer society, informed by the issues that matter most to our business and our stakeholders.
A cleaner, healthier world
Our sustainability programmes continue to play an important part in helping us meet global challenges.
Our brand leadership, innovation programmes, supply networks and partnerships build both resilience and opportunity for the future, while contributing to a healthier planet and a fairer society. For example, our global partnership with WWF has focused on water and nature for the past three years, helping to strengthen key water ecosystems and supplies for future generations.
In communities, our social impact programmes continue to deliver at scale. These programmes enable grassroots innovation to flourish and help solve health and hygiene challenges, such as a lack of clean water in communities.
More sustainable brands
Our market-leading brands help solve everyday problems and do so at scale. By developing more sustainable products in our uniquely-placed portfolio, we help tackle some of the world’s challenges to enable a cleaner, healthier world.
Net revenue from more sustainable products now accounts for over a third of total revenues which reflects our ongoing efforts to accelerate progress against our product carbon footprint reduction target and meet our post-consumer recycled (PCR) packaging target. During 2024, we focused on the raw materials used in our products and continued our programmes to reduce the use of certain chemicals.

Healthier planet
In 2024, we continued to surpass our science-based target to reduce our Scope 1 and 2 emissions, achieving a 69% reduction vs our baseline. We achieved water positivity at our Mysore site in India – moving us closer to our goal for water positivity at all sites in water-stressed areas by 2030. Almost all of our electricity is from renewable sources, while a third of our sites now generate some of their own renewable energy. We maintained our target of zero waste to landfill from our manufacturing sites. We’re now focused on reducing emissions across our value chain with our extensive network of suppliers.

Fairer society
We are committed to enabling a fair, diverse and inclusive society as an employer, across our supply chain and through our brands. Nearly half of our employees are women, our manager population is gender-balanced and women make up a third of our senior management team. Gender balance at the highest levels is improving, while we have already achieved 50% women at all management levels.
In addition, Reckitt achieved Global Living Wage Certification from the Fair Wage Network in December 2024. This confirms that we pay all our employees in all our markets at least the living wage for that location.
