Since the start of the infant formula shortage, Reckitt has maximized efforts to ensure that high-quality formula is reaching shelves quickly, and that parents, healthcare providers and retailers have the most up-to-date information on deliveries and distribution. We are proud to currently be feeding more than 50% of infants in America, including more than 40% of infants whose families participate in the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program.
Our priority has always been to ensure parents have access to the best nutrition for their babies and toddlers and reliable updates on availability. Thousands of employees across the world have come together to support U.S. families every step of the way, through efforts including:
- Working closely with the U.S. government to import more of our formula from abroad and to secure necessary and vital raw materials
- Partnering with retailers to prioritize our delivery trucks
- Implementing advancements at our customer care center to address inquiries in an average of 30 seconds, and
- Regularly updating the public through media outreach and social media updates.
