STATEMENT ON INFANT FORMULA DEFENSE PRODUCTION ACT AUTHORIZATIONS
PARSIPPANY, N.J., May 23, 2022 – Following from our ongoing engagement across government to help mitigate the infant formula shortage, we welcome the Administration’s announcement that Reckitt can now receive priority orders for manufacturing inputs, which will allow us to further maximize our formula manufacturing capacity. Since the start of the shortage, we have been working intensely to boost the supply of infant formula – including by increasing resources in our operations, streamlining our production, and accelerating our speed to market. We are now feeding over 200,000 more babies with safe, high-quality formula than at the start of the shortage, and we will continue to do all we can until every parent has the formula they need, wherever and whenever they need it.

Statement on Infant Formula Supply Talks with President Biden
PARSIPPANY, N.J., May 12, 2022 – Today we had a productive conversation with President Biden on ways we can work together to address the nation’s infant formula shortage. We are running our plants 24/7, which has enabled us to increase supply to parents and infants by more than 30% - feeding over 200,000 more babies than at the start of the shortage. Today, Reckitt provides over half the infant formula in the United States. We will continue to partner with the Administration to identify other ways to help ensure parents and infants have a steady supply of safe, high-quality formula.

RECKITT STATEMENT ON BABY FORMULA SAFETY
Enfamil formulas safe to consume
PARSIPPANY, N.J., Feb. 18, 2022 – We are aware of a recall of select infant formulas made by another manufacturer and can reassure that no Enfamil products are affected. The health and safety of our consumers is our top priority. All Enfamil, Nutramigen and PurAmino branded products are safe to use and remain available.
All of our infant formulas have undergone extensive quality tests and checks, including for Cronobacter and Salmonella, which meet or exceed standards set by U.S. FDA.
We understand that this situation is worrisome to parents and understand how important infant formula is for babies and children who rely on it. We are urgently responding to ensure that customers, families and babies can get the formula they need. We have been shipping 30% more product to meet heightened consumer demand. We are looking into every possible option now to expand production and are actively working with our suppliers, partners and distributers to put as much formula in the market as possible.
