RB Honored as Silver Stevie® Award Winner in 2017 American Business Awards℠

RB, the global health and hygiene company known for popular brands such as Mucinex® and Lysol®, was named the winner of a Silver Stevie® Award in the Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the Year category in The 15th Annual American Business Awards today.

As a global leader in health, hygiene and home, RB has redefined health as more than just the absence of illness; it is the ability to lead a fitter and happier life. RB believes it has the responsibility to help people achieve this, while making the right kind of social impact. That commitment has driven RB to launch a series of health and hygiene awareness and educations programs, in addition to RB’s long-standing partnership with Save the Children.

  • RB donated more than 225,000 Durex® condoms to the CDC Foundation for inclusion in their Zika prevention kits.
  • RB sponsored the creation of safety and preparedness resources by Save the Children in partnership with Scholastic.
  • RB formally launched its “Get Ready, Get Safe” partnership with Save the Children and donated $275,000 to Save the Children US.
  • RB raised nearly $1M during its annual U.S. Charity Day to benefit Save the Children.

The American Business Awards are the nation’s premier business awards program.  Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word meaning “crowned,” the awards will be presented to winners at a gala ceremony at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York on Tuesday, June 20.

“Each year the judges find the quality and variety of the nominations to be greater than the year before. The 2017 competition was intense and every organization that has won should be proud,” said Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie Awards.
